The Lightning Thief!

The Lightning Thief


​ Show dates: May 22nd at the willowsford lodge at 6pm, May 30th at Lightridge highschool at 7pm, June 1st at the Stone Ridge Amphitheater at 2pm.

Synopsis: A musical retelling of the famous Percy Jackson book The Lightning Thief. This story follows teenage Percy Jackson and his adventures in finding out he is a half-blood, starting his killer quest to find out who stole Zeus' lightning bolt, and making lifelong friendships at his new life in Camp half blood.

What's our spring musical?

Mamma Mia!

            
Show dates: May 1-3 at 7pm and May 3rd at 2pm 

The famous Abba jukebox musical Mamma Mia! follows the story of a girl named Sophie who plans to find her father during her wedding weekend by inviting three of her mother's past boyfriends. Will she find her real dad? Who's gonna walk her down the aisle?! Come find out at Lightridge High School!

Xanadu 


Show dates: January 17, 18, 23, and 25 

Synopsis: Xanadu is a musical based on a lone artist named Sonny who wants to create his dream roller disco but loses hope until one day when a muse named Kira (Cleo) inspires him to follow his dream—featuring roller skating, disco, greek gods, and FUN!

Scenes From Metamorphoses 


​Show dates: January 16, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25

Content warning! Mentions incest, sex, and some curse words. 

Synopsis: An artistic play written by Mary Zimmerman based on the myths of the OVID (not The Metamorphosis... with the Bug). This story retells famous Greek myths in a pool of water to give a new artistic twist to the old and well-known stories.

The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza


​Show date: The weekend of January 16, 17, 18, and weekend of 24, 25, 26 (TBD) 


Synopsis: An entertaining comedy that puts a hilarious twist on the original Greek myths like Pandora’s Box involving cops, the love story of an emo Orpheus and Eurydice, and the Titan Cronus in marriage counseling

Show dates:  January 18, 22, 23, 24, and 25 

Synopsis: Bolt Fest features two weekends of student-written and student directed one-acts and in-class shows. This year's one-act theme is Greek!

Antigone Plus
Show dates: November 14, 15, and 16 at 7 pm

Content warning! Mentions of incest, suicide, and fighting


 Synopsis: A Greek play written by Sophocles follows Antigone, a rebel woman who lost most of her family to tragedy and has to follow her corrupt uncle in his newfound kingdom. Features a comedic retelling of the prologue by Brandon Kalbaugh.

Now what is a theatre program without performing any shows? For our very first show ever, we performed Emma! A Pop Musical online. It was a challenge, but we got it done. Our first in person show was Dracula a Comedy of Terrors written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen.

18 High Schools, One Department 

​Theatre intertwines all participants, no matter what. Theatre is one big community, wherever you come from, whatever you look like, all are welcome. Here are some photos from our cast who visit other schools performances.
