Come be part of our world this summer… Lightridge Theatre is hosting their second annual Lightridge Institute for Theatre Enrichment (LITE) Summer Program with THREE different ways to play. We are presenting Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Registration is open now with a variety of programming designed for rising 3rd–8th and 8–12th graders. With specialized tracks in performance or technical theatre, we have something for everyone.

Some of the topics & teachers for the LITE summer training program of workshops include:
FOR ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Two specialized tracks of skill-building are available: performance or technical theatre.
Students in the Performance Experience will get training in Acting, Singing and Dancing as they prepare for their production of "DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR." at the end of the week for friends and family to experience what students have worked on and learned throughout the workshops.
Students in the Tech Experience will support the production of “DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR." as they work alongside Lightridge Theatre’s award-winning tech mentors to learn how to operate stage lights and sound, as well as preparing the sets, props and costumes.
Students participating in “DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR.” will be expected to commit to the full two weeks and be in attendance every day Monday through Friday (both performers and tech). Every minute of preparation will be necessary to give every student the best experience possible in the final performance.
*July 14-25, 2025: 9 am – 3 pm
for rising 3rd - 8th graders who want to be part of the Performance Experience. These students will attend BOTH weeks and will present DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. at the conclusion of the program.
Cost of this program is $500 total for both weeks.

for rising 5th - 8th graders who want to work on the Technical/Production aspects of DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. Students will: Learn and lead tech for the production of the show, including lights and sound, props, basic set design and costumes. These students will attend BOTH weeks.
Cost of this program is $500 total for both weeks.
Workshops and Master Classes FOR RISING 8th–12th GRADERS:
Performance Technique Track: This is a performer training experience in which students will have access to various techniques and methods from industry professionals and Lightridge alumni currently enrolled in highly competitive training programs. Through a combination of master classes and workshops in movement, character building, film acting, script analysis, stage combat, vocal performance, dance and more, students will develop their own artistic method and leave feeling prepared for future projects with new tools in their performance arsenal.
*July 14-18, 2025: 12 pm – 3 pm AND/OR *July 21-25, 2025: 12 pm – 3 pm
